Andrew Salazar’s culinary journey began at age eleven, washing dishes in a small family-owned restaurant. Before long, he began helping the chef in the kitchen, where he discovered his love for cooking. Over the years, Andrew developed his culinary skills and eventually purchased the same steakhouse where his journey began.

As Andrew and his wife, Esther, grew in their Christian faith, they envisioned a fresh start that reflected their values. Together, they chose to move the restaurant to a new location and create a welcoming dining experience without the sale of alcohol.
 

Today, Maranatha Steakhouse serves lunch and dinner in Imperial, California. The restaurant also offers catering for events of all sizes, banquet space, and gourmet desserts available daily. Andrew and Esther remain committed to serving their community with high-quality food and thoughtful service.
